Chapter 15: The True Crest

Late that night, after the last guests had departed and the ballroom lights were dimmed, the grand lobby settled into a peaceful, majestic quiet.

The soft ambient lights highlighted the white marble floor, where the golden "SM" crest shone with a warm, polished glow.

Sienna walked slowly across the lobby, her heels making a soft, rhythmic sound against the stone. She stopped directly beside the golden emblem, looking down at the interlocking letters.

She remembered the feeling of being pressed against that cold stone weeks ago—the blood on her face, the stinging insults, and the heavy weight of Victoria’s hand. That moment of cruelty had tested the soul of the hotel her father had built. But instead of responding with revenge or destruction, she had chosen to use her power to restore human dignity to every corner of the building.

A soft set of footsteps approached from behind. Victoria walked up, standing beside Sienna near the edge of the crest. She didn't say anything; she simply stood there in quiet solidarity, looking down at the gold inlay.

"It really is a beautiful crest," Victoria murmured softly after a long silence.

Sienna looked at her, then out through the grand glass doors at the quiet city street outside, where the first warm light of dawn was beginning to illuminate the horizon.

"It's not just a crest, Victoria," Sienna said gently, her gray-green eyes peaceful and whole. "It's a promise."

And as the morning sun streamed through the high glass windows, bathing the golden emblem and the two women in a warm, brilliant light, the promise of the St. Moritz Hotel stood firm—unbroken, enduring, and built on a foundation that no amount of pride could ever shake again.
