CHAPTER 2 – THE SECOND RECORDING

The MAID Knocked the GROOM's Drink at His Own WEDDING — Seconds Later a VIDEO Exposed the BRIDE

"No one leaves this room."

The groom's voice echoed across the silent ballroom.

The guests stopped moving.

Even the musicians had frozen.

The bride forced a nervous smile.

"Darling... this has to be some kind of misunderstanding."

She reached for his hand.

He stepped back.

"Did you put something in my drink?"

Her lips parted, but no words came.

The maid slowly raised her shaking hand.

"I saw her."

Every eye turned toward her.

"I was setting the dessert table when I noticed the bride take something out of her bouquet."

"I didn't know what it was."

"But when she dropped it into your champagne..."

"I panicked."

"I couldn't scream."

"So I knocked the glass away."

Silence.

The groom looked at the broken champagne still soaking into the white marble floor.

Then he looked back at his bride.

"You almost let everyone believe she ruined our wedding."

The bride suddenly burst into tears.

"It wasn't poison!"

"I was only trying to calm your nerves."

She reached into her purse and pulled out a small prescription bottle.

"See?"

"It's anxiety medication."

Several guests nodded.

Maybe...

Maybe she was telling the truth.

Then an elderly man slowly stood up from the front row.

"I'm a toxicologist."

Everyone looked toward him.

He adjusted his glasses.

"May I see that bottle?"

The bride hesitated.

Just for a second.

But it was enough.

The toxicologist opened the bottle.

He frowned.

"This label has been replaced."

The room erupted again.

Before anyone could react—

The wedding planner rushed onto the stage.

"Sir..."

She was pale.

"We found another memory card."

The videographer looked confused.

"What memory card?"

"It was hidden inside one of the flower arrangements."

The ballroom lights dimmed once more.

A new video appeared on the giant screen.

This time...

It had been recorded the night before the wedding.

The bride was inside the bridal suite.

She wasn't alone.

A man stepped into frame.

He wrapped his arms around her.

They kissed.

Long.

Passionately.

The guests gasped.

The groom stood motionless.

Then the stranger spoke five words that shattered everything.

"Tomorrow he'll finally be dead."

The screen went black.

The bride collapsed to her knees.

And outside the ballroom...

Police sirens began to echo through the night.
