Chapter 10 - Complete Disinheritance

Three months after the final verdict, the legal and financial restructuring of the Vance estate was complete.

Clara didn't keep a single dollar of the forfeited $150 million for personal luxury.

Instead, she and Lucas established the Clara Vance Foundation for Victims of Family Abuse & Financial Exploitation.

On a bright, sunny afternoon, a crowd of hundreds gathered outside a grand, newly renovated four-story brick facility in downtown Manhattan.

Above the entrance sat a carved marble plaque:

THE CLARA VANCE HEIRLOOM SANCTUARY Restoring Dignity, Protection, and Hope to the Innocent.

Clara stood at the podium in a gorgeous white tailored dress, looking out at the reporters, charity workers, and domestic abuse survivors gathered in the courtyard.

Beside her stood Lucas, his hand resting gently on the small of her back, his eyes shining with pure pride and devotion.

"Money and status mean nothing if they are built on cruelty," Clara announced into the microphone, her voice resounding with clear, beautiful authority. "This foundation will provide free legal defense, emergency shelter, and mental health support for thousands of women who feel trapped by powerful families."

The crowd erupted into thunderous, standing applause.

Clara took a pair of golden scissors and cut the thick silk ribbon, opening the doors to a haven that would save lives for generations to come.
