A teacher rushed into the hallway.
"What happened here?"
Nobody answered.
The bullies quickly spoke first.
"She slipped."
Several students lowered their heads.
The teacher looked uncertain.

A quiet voice came from the crowd.
"That's not true."
A freshman girl stepped forward.
Her hands shook.
"I recorded everything."
She slowly raised her phone.
The hallway froze.
The video played.
The staircase.
The shove.
The laughter.
Every second.
Perfectly clear.
The teacher's face hardened.
The boys stopped smiling.
One of them reached for the phone.
The classmate stepped in front of her.
"Touch it..."
"...and you'll make things worse."
The teacher took the phone.
"I'll be showing this to the principal."
The leader of the group suddenly looked nervous.
